University of Kelaniya In 1875, Paliyagoda vidyalankara piriwena was foundered by Rathmalane sri Darmaloka theru and In 1978, it was changed to University of Kelaniya. The university is contained many facilities and now I want to show you some of them. · Administrator Procedures of registration of students, students identity cards,student records Books and appeals which are related to student matters are conducted by academic division. Now deputy register of academic division is Mrs.M.M.N.T.K Yalegama. Following activities are administrate by student welfare division. Maintenance of hostels, canteens, and activities related to mahapola schoralship, bursary and other scholarships, registration of student associations such as LED and LEO, giving permission to seminars, dramas and other events which are organized by university student associations.
