Under Trinco sunshine.....
Outbound Training Camp
The days which was coming to see Trinco sun shine is
the best day in my life. It’s my first experience in a camp. I had never
participated to a camp. So, at the end of the two days physically I was tired
but mentally I was happy. Actually, we not only enjoyed but also learned thing
to our life. In my case, I learned many things from that navy officers.
Early in the morning (at 3.30 am) we left from
university. Ma’am had already divided us into two buses that mixture of seniors
and us. It’s a good opportunity to interact with the seniors. Because, we
haven’t proper connection with our seniors. So, we sang songs shared our meals.
In that case other bus called us “Laveriya bus”.
After lunch, there were sessions to improve our
skills such as leadership, Planning, Analyzing, how to work with a team etc.
There was a game called passing through a high tension wire. So, first we
planned the order who were going to pass. Likewise the game which was have to
pass a small tick ball through a pipe. Patient was strictly compulsory for that
event. The enjoyable game is there was a pipe with some holes. Top and bottom
also opened. Then we have to fill it from water. So, we got many valuable thing
to our life via that session. There was an awsame camp fire at the night. We
got an opportunity to show our talents. We hadn’t prepared for that but however
we show a nice talent show.
We had got accommodation in Women Sailor mess in the
navy camp. We got chance to learn about their punctuality and time management.
At Saturday night there were two officers in our room. Next day at 5.45 am they
woke up, get ready and prepared bed tea within 15 minutes. I was interesting
about that. We woke up by them at exact 6.00 am.
Last day we have to go through a jungle using a
compass and a map. It is very valuable. We should have a sharp observation and
best leadership to complete that task. Then, we visited to navy museum and got
a good knowledge about the war period and how did our solders fight.
The summary of our outbound training camp is very
valuable, useful and interesting. We learned many things via that session…….
